Michigan Careers in HR Panel & Networking Event

Help us prepare the future of HR! GLSHRM and SHRM Livingston County are partnering to host a Networking and Panel Event for Michigan State University's HR and business students. 

Presentation Summary:

This panel brings together HR professionals from across sectors and industries to share how HR practice differs depending on organizational context. MSU HR students will hear firsthand perspectives on executive-level people strategy in a nonprofit setting, compensation and training program design, labor relations and workforce management in a manufacturing/operations environment, and the generalist role that touches every corner of HR. The discussion will cover career paths into and within HR, how priorities shift by industry and organization size, and practical advice for students entering the field.
